This approach in the Political Science programme offered by Near East University allows students to select the area in which they want to specialize.
In the undergraduate education program, common basic courses are given for the first two years.
Starting in the third year, each department’s specialisation courses are offered based on the students’ preference. In other words, the students are given a general formation through the compulsory courses given in the first two years, and a substructure is created to enable students to specialise in one of the academic fields of the faculty from the third year.
The varied departments and opportunities for lateral transfers within the faculty allow students to determine their real interests and offer them a wide range of job opportunities.
In the courses, you’ll analyse the phases of the network of political, economic and socio-cultural relations in our globalizing world, and present a multidimensional perspective in which students can combine theory and practice with current debates, international seminars and field research.
With this perspective, our students can graduate as individuals who can meet the needs of national markets and have the necessary skills and qualifications to compete on a global scale.
Another important feature of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Near East University is that it hosts foreign students from many different countries.
This feature enables students to meet and integrate with different cultures while increasing the opportunities for graduates to find jobs in national and international institutions and organizations.
